Bhartiya Vikas Sansthan (BVS) successfully conducted awareness sessions on family planning and nutrition across multiple locations in Rajasthan. The sessions aimed to educate women on affordable nutrition and reproductive health, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and children.

Project Details:

  • Location: Dausa, Bandikui, Mahwa, Sikandra, and Shri Mahaveer Ji (Karauli) – Rajasthan
  • Duration: Multiple sessions from 2018 to 2024
  • Target Audience: Mothers, community women, and children

Objectives of the Camp:

  • Promote low-cost nutrition among women for better health
  • Raise awareness about family planning and reproductive health
  • Educate mothers on the importance of protein-rich diets for child growth
  • Encourage homemade, nutritious meals to reduce dependency on unhealthy outside food

  • Discussed birth control methods and their benefits for maternal health
  • Explained the importance of proteins for bone health, preventing malnutrition-related diseases like kwashiorkor and marasmus
  • Conducted interactive sessions to help mothers prepare balanced meals for children
