Enhancing Healthcare through PPP in Rajasthan
In partnership with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, Bharti Vikas Sansthan (BVS) successfully managed five Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Baran districts from 2018 to 2020. This initiative aimed to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to underserved communities.
Project Highlights:
Locations Covered:
- Bharatpur: 2 PHCs.
- Dholpur: 2 PHCs.
- Baran: 1 PHC.
Key Services Provided:
- Staffing Support: BVS ensured the availability of doctors, paramedics, and other essential staff at all five PHCs.
- Healthcare Facilities: Delivered free outpatient department (OPD) services, immunization, and diagnostic services.
- Ambulance Services: Supported the government’s 104 and 108 ambulance services for emergency healthcare.
- Free Medicines: Facilitated the distribution of free medicines to patients.
Impact:
The initiative strengthened the healthcare delivery system by ensuring that essential health services reached rural and remote areas. BVS’s efforts under the PPP model addressed critical gaps in staffing and healthcare facilities, significantly improving health outcomes in the targeted districts.
Bharti Vikas Sansthan’s Commitment:
BVS remains committed to collaborating with government agencies and other stakeholders to make quality healthcare accessible to all. Through this initiative, we demonstrated the potential of Public-Private Partnerships in transforming rural healthcare.
